Middlesex FA Accredited Club of the Month
We were absolutely delighted that Northfields United FC were the Middlesex FA Accredited Club of the Month for March 2022. Each month, Middlesex FA recognises and celebrates the hard work of its England Football Accredited Clubs. Whether they are a one-team Club or a 50-team Club, it’s the little things that count.
Harrow Youth League
While most of our NUFC teams currently play in the Middlesex Youth Football League, we have been trialling the Harrow Youth League this season with our U10 Red and U11 teams.
The Harrow Youth League is FA Accredited and is the biggest in the country in terms of teams and players, allowing for regular, varied and evenly matched opponents. It won an FA award last season as ‘best charter standard league’ and has a strong reputation for being well organised, including full fixtures lists weeks in advance. And our trial has shown that distance is not an issue, with away games close by or easy to drive to on the North Circular.
As the trial has been positive, the Committee has made the decision to move all our teams to the Harrow Youth League next season. We believe that the larger number of teams and divisions will give all our players a better football experience by allowing for more close and competitive games and a variety of opponents, rather than playing the same opposition multiple times in the season. And parents will be able to plan their weekends better by knowing fixture details much further in advance.

NUFC players progressing into Pro Academies
Congratulations to former player Jack Jones for signing for Crystal Palace FC U9’s.
Congratulations to Oscar Waggott in our U7s Red and Victor Manson in our U6’s who have both been invited to train with Fulham FC’s Pre Academy.
Jorge UEFA C Licence
Jorge has been accepted onto his UEFA C License Course which will commence next month. Jorge is excited about the opportunity and bringing back new ideas to our structure and sharing his knowledge with our coaching team.
Welcome Juan Pablo – UEFA Pro Licence Coach
Juan Pablo is a Level 5 coach, one of the highest credentials in the game. We welcome him to the team and will be tasking him with creating a methodology for the club in terms of how we play football, alongside working with our coaches to ensure we are working within this framework, ensuring we are developing each and every player. Part of this will be sharing our methodology and practices with parents from next season to ensure we are transparent with our aims and objectives.

If you are unable to attend that is no problem, your place is still secure for next season. Moving to the Harrow Youth League, the aim of the trial is to decide which teams players will be playing in next season.
